Wecome to Word on the Street, Children of the Street Society’s official blog!
Who we are
Children of the Street Society is a Provincial Society and Federal Charity concerned with the number of children and youth being sexually exploited in British Columbia.
Our mission is to take a proactive approach through public awareness, education, and early intervention strategies to prevent the sexual exploitation of children and youth, while offering support to families.
Our vision is a world where children and youth are safe and free from all forms of sexual exploitation.
We are excited to use this as a space to raise awareness about the complex issue of sexual exploitation by sharing our unique insights, gained through our important work in the area of prevention and early intervention. Thank you so much for choosing to get to know us better. We will be posting at least once a week, usually on Mondays or Tuesdays. Looking forward to your comments, thoughts and feedback.
